DESCRIPTION

APR has been engaged to identify hard working Livability Index Project Manager.

LOCATION: Washington, D.C. 20049

CONTRACT: 12 months

SCHEDULE: Mon-Fri 40 hrs/week

DESCRIPTION:

  • Responsible for coordinating team member participation in meetings, external outreach with stakeholders, and communicating with contractor staff on work related to the AARP Livability Index, a nationwide neighborhood-based index of metrics and policies that impact quality of life.
  • Schedule project-related meetings, maintain written meeting notes, record decisions, ensure on-time execution and follow-up as necessary.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required, as well as ability to plan ahead, negotiate consensus on decisions, and solve problems with sound judgement and rationale.
  • Interest and/or experience in work related to urban planning, livable communities, public policy or related disciplines is a plus.

COMPENSATION:

PAY RATE:

$60/hr
