Job Description:

This position will be part of the Client's Data Governance team supporting the implementation of an Enterprise-Wide Data Catalog. You will be responsible for project management over the team's book of work, including, but not limited to: documentation, functional deliverables, process rollout, issue and change management.

  • You will have exposure to learn and apply DCAM (Data Capability Assessment Model) framework to harvest the power of modern data management practice and enable the protection of privacy information for client's consumers.
  • Responsibilities include (but not limited to): · Effectively facilitate the exchanges between Data Governance and Architecture teams in addition to broader client teams to ensure clear understanding of the Enterprise Client's Data Catalog.
  • Support project management for the development of the Enterprise Data Catalog Governance Architecture · Facilitate conversations to synthesize business / functional requirements.
  • Liaise with Technical Architecture team to define the meta data flow and develop its phased adoption, including the support of redesign of the existing processes around the meta data.
  • Work with appropriate divisional Point of Contacts (POCs) to coordinate requirements, designs, and implementation tracking to manage dependencies.
  • Coordinate with Data Privacy and Policy teams to ensure the needed data management capabilities are prioritized accordingly.
  • Translate project issues into impacts to empower senior stakeholders to make informative decisions · Support PM and impacted stakeholders in various tasks, e.g. project work breakdown, RAID tracking, JIRA tracking & dashboard, status reporting through emails, PPT presentations, or status calls · Identify obstacles and roadblocks and proactively advocate approaches to overcome them.

MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):

  • 6+ years of work experience in program or project management, support regular status updates.
  • Includes 2-3 years of business analysis experience in supporting large scale enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Experience seeing a project through conclusion.
  • Passion for a system-oriented approach to business process design.
  • Ability to think through issues with strong analytical skills.
  • Strong communication, ability to influence groups outside of your organization.
  • Ability to work in a team and form good rapport with various teams and members in a short span of time.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage the team's time effectively.
  • Diligent in keeping project artifacts up to date.
  • Believer in an agile approach to innovation, i.e. the Scrum framework for the SDLC.
  • Skills in GSuite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive), SmartSheets, Jira.
  • Exposure to privacy regulations.

DESIRED SKILLS:

· 3+ years of work experience in Data Governance.

· Exposure to privacy regulations – GDPR, CCPA, CPRA.

· Interest in/with DCAM Framework.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

· Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related technical field.
