Our client is a worldwide telecommunications company that offers voice, data and video services and solutions on its award-winning networks and platforms, delivering on customers’ demand for mobility, reliable network connectivity, security, and control.
 
We are looking for an Android Device QA Tester II who will develop and conduct ad hoc testing on various Android and Apple devices to identify issues and ensure optimal performance during device certification testing.

Location: Miami, FL 33178 – hybrid
Position: Android Device QA Tester II
Pay: $18-22/hr. on W2 depending on years of experience
Duration: 12 months or longer
Note: Onsite every Tues and one extra flex day

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute automated test scripts to streamline overall testing efficiency.
  • Perform LTE, 5G end to end validation and verification with focus on debugging
  • Perform Test automation and development with AT cmds, Android APIs
  • Work closely with development team to ensure high product quality and deliverables
  • Identify and mitigate customer experience, network degradation and other system/business gaps
  • Check for validity of collected data using several techniques
  • Maintain up-to-date testing documents and reports 

 
Must Have Skills:

  • Targeted years of experience: 2-5 years
  • Some knowledge of Android / Android Debugging Bridge (adb) or automation testing knowledge/understanding is a PLUS
  • Proven experience in QA testing particularly with Android and Apple devices
  • Strong understanding of ad hoc testing methodologies and techniques
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiar with programming languages like Java, JavaScript, Python Security and pen test knowledge 

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelors degree in technology field or combination of education and experience
