An aerospace client is looking for a Test Technician to report to the Operations Test Engineering Manager and will be responsible for executing test procedures, performing post-test data processing, and reporting to engineers.

Position: Test Technician
Pay Rate: 
$36/hr. on W2
Duration: 6 months or longer

Responsibilities:

  • The qualified candidate will have ownership of their work through all phases of product development, production, testing, and integration supporting internal and external teams as required.
  • Provide test and technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks.
  • Execute comprehensive component and system-level test plans, procedures, and test event
  • Participate in test planning and test readiness reviews
  • Analyze measurement requirements and equipment measurement tolerances.
  • Define and maintain documented best practices for test processes and equipment.
  • Contribute to maintaining and improving test equipment and infrastructure.
  • Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as component and systems-level test results and engineering design changes.
  • Conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.
  • Maintains engineering documentation and reports (procedures and test reports)
  • Support internal and external customers’ needs.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and solve test problems and aid manufacturing, inspection, and engineering issues.
  • Analyze data and provide reports in a variety of customer formats
Basic Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Knowledge with Laser Tracking Software such as Spatial Analyzer
