Position: Central Service Technician I
Pay Rate: $26.50/hr
Duration: 15 weeks
Expected Shift:
Monday – Friday 10:00am- 6:30pm or Sat & Sun 10:00am- 6:30pm
Job Profile Summary
The Central Service Technician I is responsible for maintaining the Central Service and Warehouse inventory, replenishing medical supplies,
distributing clinical equipment and generating patient charges.
Job Description Experience
• Required: None required.
• Preferred: One (1) year of hospital and or related supply changing work experience.
Education
• Required: High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent experience.
Training
• Required: None required.
Specialized Skills
• Required: Good computer skills, with ability to learn multiple software systems. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written
and oral. Strong organization skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to set goals and judge
results in accordance with the highest standards; care with sensitivity and respect; advance care through development of new ideas and
technology; promote teamwork to achieve CHOC's mission; and understand and exceed customer expectations.
• Preferred: Knowledge of hospital supplies and inventory management. Knowledge of Lawson inventory software and PYXIS automated
supply station software.
