An aerospace client is looking for a Systems Software Developer to analyze, enhance, install, test, and modify enterprise-wide software systems.

Location:  Gilbert, AZ 85233 (Remote)
Position: Systems Software Developer
Pay Rate: $58/hr. – $77/hr. on W2 (DOE)
Duration: 3 months or longer
Schedule: 9×80 A
Note: This position will be primarily work from home. This could change depending upon business conditions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
  • Analyze, enhance, install, test, and modify enterprise-wide software systems
  •  Develop requirements, workflow, and perform systems analysis
  • Correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities
  • Establish standards for the development and maintenance of new and existing products.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, meet with team members and users to develop solutions.
  • Provide real time gathering of inputs from the manufacturing work centers, document and track each item to closure within the requirements of change control process.
  • Support Solumina G-Series (G8) to iSeries transition, including defining business processes and new software capability, implement and manage integration API elements using software configuration management practices.
  • This role is typically designed for software development with a minor amount of system administration or data analytic responsibilities.
  •  Responsible to prioritize work, perform work independently and within a team. Ability to receive guidance from senior technical teammates.
  • Represent the organization to other business groups, provide sound technical understanding and commit to performance within the margins of the system capabilities

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Mathematics or STEM equivalent with 5 Years of relevant experience OR 3 years of relevant experience with a Master’s Degree.
  • Must be able to analyze and validate the performance and validity of interfaces and supporting system software to specified system requirements.
  • Experience providing technical solutions consistent with organizational objectives and business processes.
  • Must be able to share a rotating schedule for ‘on call’ support over nights, weekends, and holidays with other team members.
  • Knowledge of software verification processes and techniques, test reporting, regression testing, and test data analysis.
  • Experience with Relational databases (Oracle, SQLServer) including packages, procedures and functions.
  • System integration experience.
  • Network Protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, FTP/FTPS, TCP/IP).
  • Strong problem-solving skills; Strong communication skills
  • This position will be primarily work from home. This could change depending upon business conditions.
  • TRAVEL: Yes, 10% of the Time – maybe just once a year

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) preferably Solumina applications.
  • Experience with Database queries and Data mining using an intermediate level SQL.
  • Knowledge of programming (e.g. Python or JAVA) and Kubernetes framework.
  • Understanding of software INI, UDV, SQL libraries and familiarity with version control systems like Git/Bitbucket.
  • Experience with ERP systems preferably Deltek Costpoint.
  • Basic understanding of configuration management, process flow and general manufacturing processing standards.
  • Familiar with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and best practices in server management.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Web application developer is preferred.
  • Proven experience with Full stack Java development (Java, JUnit, Java EE, Swing).
  • Experienced with JaxWs, Restful services experience.
  • Experience with HTML, HTML 5, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript, TypeScript, JSON.
  • Experience with frameworks such as React or Angular.
  • Experience with modern IDE tools and testing mechanisms (e.g. Eclipse, VsCode)
  • Experience with Web Server administration
