Our DOD/Aerospace client is looking to fill an Sr. Advanced Systems Engineer – Tracking Systems Engineer  position that just opened in Scottsdale, AZ. In this role you’ll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing and deploying the state-of-the-art ground operational system. To be considered, you will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering or related plus a minimum of 8 years of experience.

Position: Senior Advanced Systems Engineer – Tracking Systems Engineer
Contract: 12-24 months with possibility of going direct/permanent   

Pay: $88.45/hour
Telecommute: Hybrid

Overview:
As a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer – Tracking Systems Engineer for the SDA GMI program, you’ll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing and deploying the state-of-the-art ground operational system.

We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences:

  • Satellite communications knowledge
  • Ground to Satellite communication knowledge
  • Ground operations experience

Preferred Experience:

  • STK/Python, CAMEO, or MATLAB analyst focus
  • SE with MBSE experience and tracking knowledge
  • SE with core skills space, tracking, MATLAB or Python skills, some software ideal for backfill 
  • SMART OA SE – knowledge of IRPL and modeling tracking payload, aerospace experience
  • Strong SW, cloud, modeling, and sim background with space knowledge
