Position: HR Project Manager (Remote)
Pay Rate: $50-70/hr (Depends on the experience)
Duration: 3 months (Covering Maternity Leave)
Schedules/Shift available: Mon-Fri 8AM – 5PM
JOB SUMMARY:
The HR Project Manager will play a key role in supporting the delivery of People Capability programs and initiatives, with a focus on Workday implementations, process design, and operational efficiency projects. This role is ideal for a motivated, results-driven project management professional who thrives in a dynamic environment. The HR Project Manager will oversee the full project lifecycle, from planning and development to implementation, monitoring, and reporting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Portfolio Management:
- Manage a portfolio of HR projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and People Capability strategies.
Project Lifecycle Oversight:
- Lead all phases of project management, including:
- Project planning and development.
- Risk identification and mitigation.
- Resource allocation.
- Management of project dependencies.
HR Process Optimization:
- Provide expert guidance on HR processes and Workday best practices.
- Identify opportunities for system optimization and operational efficiency.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Direct cross-functional teams in the design and implementation of HR projects.
- Provide clear directions, resolve conflicts, and ensure timely project execution.
Proactive Ownership:
- Identify and resolve project roadblocks.
- Make sound recommendations to ensure project success.
- Monitor performance against KPIs.
Process Analysis:
- Conduct analysis to identify workflow inefficiencies and provide recommendations for improvement.
Project Methodologies:
- Apply project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Kanban) to ensure effective project delivery.
Tool Utilization:
- Leverage project management tools (Monday.com, Smartsheet, Jira) to track progress, foster collaboration, and generate reports.
Standardization & Best Practices:
- Develop and implement program templates, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices for efficient program execution.
Program Development:
- Contribute to the development of the People Capability program roadmap by identifying opportunities for new initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
- Proven ability to deliver projects on time and meet business objectives.
- Experience with HR principles and practices is essential.
- Proficiency in Workday or other HR information systems is preferred.
- Experience with project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Kanban) is a plus.
Skills:
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Smartsheet, Jira).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to manage cross-functional relationships.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in project development, implementation, and documentation.
