APR Consulting, Inc. has been engaged to identify a  Warehouse Supervisor
 
Location: Las Vegas, NV, 89119
Position: Warehouse Supervisor
Pay Rate: $30-33/hr DOE
Duration: 3 months  (there will be a lot of overtime with this role)
 
The person in this position under the direct supervision of an Operation Manager, Oversees Cycle Count, Receiving, and Warehouse. This person will be required to follow all Cycle Count Policy and make sure all inventory is counted every quarter. This person will also be required to make sure all inbound shipments are received and put away, resolve receipt issues, and maintains the physical condition of the warehouse. The person in the position is required to communicate with management and peers in a professional and courteous manner.
 
Essential Job Functions:
•        Manages warehouse resources in a lean environment.
•        Maintain inventory accuracy
•        Delegate daily tasks to warehouse associates.
•        Ability to look up items in both ERP systems.
•        Communicate with purchasing to resolve any receiving issues.
•        Monitor inventory transactions for discrepancies
•        Ensuring inventory areas are clean and maintained.
•        Monitoring warehouse associates to ensure safety procedures are being followed when operating forklifts/machinery.
•        Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
•        Work responsibly and efficiently, adhering to all safety rules and policies
•        Root cause/troubleshoot systemic transactions.
•        Schedule delivery appointments with requesting carriers.
 
Qualifications:
•        Minimum of three to five years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
 
Education:
•        High school graduate or equivalent, must be able to verify.
 
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
•        Working knowledge of MS Office
•        Strong working knowledge of MRP, MAPICS, Oracle and Agile preferred
•        Experience with quality environments such as ISO or Lea Six Sigma
•        Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or similar process improvement experience a plus
•        Sarbanes Oxley process knowledge
