Our DOD/Aerospace client is looking to fill a Stock / Receiving Associate position that just opened in Scottsdale, AZ. The position will perform the physical and administrative tasks involved in the receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. To be considered, you will have a High School Diploma or equivalent and ability to lift heavy items and operate a forklift

Job Title: Stock / Receiving Associate
Location: Scottsdale, AZ 85257
Contract Duration: 12 months or longer
Pay: $18.45/hour

Note:  Due to the nature of work all candidates must be US Citizens. 
 
With a keen eye for the details and exceptional organizational skills, you’ll perform the physical and administrative tasks involved in the receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. Fundamentally, you’ll unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintain records of received goods, package and prepare materials for delivery to the designated program and manufacturing locations, perform cycle counts and inventory verification of parts based on information provided, and examine, stock, and distribute materials in inventory warehouse or distribution center.

Requirements:
•    A High School Diploma or equivalent
•    Ability to lift heavy items and operate a forklift
•    Basic computer skills with knowledge of the enterprise software tools (MRP, Receiving)

Preferred experience: 
•    Solid customer service and communication skills
•    Awareness of continuous improvement initiatives
•    Ability to obtain necessary certifications as required
•    Physical ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds as required
•    Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
•    Unload, unpack, and label materials and supplies
•    Organize and store items in designated locations within the stockroom
•    Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking inventory levels and conducting regular counts
•    Pick, pack, and prepare items for shipment or distribution to various departments
•    Ensure the stockroom is clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
•    Assist with inventory audits and resolve any discrepancies
•    Operate stockroom equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently
•    Communicate with other departments to coordinate inventory needs and resolve issues
