Our DOD/Aerospace client is looking to fill an ASIC/FPGA Engineer position that just opened in Canonsburg, PA. In this role, you will be a member of a cross functional team responsible for the design and development of ruggedized electronics equipment for the United States Navy and directly contribute to the technical and production success of our programs through hands-on technical contributions and leadership opportunities. To be considered, you will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related plus a minimum of 2 years of experience.  

Location: Canonsburg, PA
Position: ASIC/FPGA Engineer
Contract: 12-24 months with possibility of going direct/permanent   

Pay: $55/hour+ DOE
Telecommute: Hybrid

Overview:
As an Application Specific Integrated Circuit / Field Programmable Gate Array Engineer (Sr ASIC FPGA Engr), you will be a member of a cross functional team responsible for the design and development of ruggedized electronics equipment for the United States Navy and directly contribute to the technical and production success of our programs through hands-on technical contributions and leadership opportunities.

We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree.
  • VHDL / FPGA experience, Xilinx experience, Embedded systems experience, or C experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical and systems design is a bonus.
