Location: Los Angeles, CA
Position:  Administrative Assistant
Pay Rate: $24.57
Duration: 12 weeks
Shift: 5×8 Days 8AM – 4PM  

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Safeguard patient confidentiality in line with HIPAA and other regulations.
  • Maintain a safe environment for patients and adhere to safety policies.
  • Address the needs of patients and their families considering their age and specific needs.
  • Manage files, monitor compliance, and ensure adherence to requirements from regulatory agencies.
  • Monitor and approve contract personnel timekeeping and submit for approval.
  • Verify the accuracy of invoices for contract personnel and submit them for approval and to Finance.
  • Submit payroll information for contracted personnel and maintain records appropriately.
  • Ensure timely completion of tasks by coordinating with different departments.
  • Assist the Director with projects, report generation, and operational decisions.
  • Inform the Director of any concerns or potential problems.
  • Coordinate and assess training programs for employees, address training needs, and provide training as needed.
  • Prioritize and distribute work tasks, supervising others when necessary.
  • Provide quality service to customers, ensuring their needs are met by department personnel.
  • Maintain productivity reports, staffing sheets, attendance records, and budget reports using appropriate formats.

EDUCATION

  • LA City Fire Card within 6 months of employment (PHGSH only)
  • Minimum 2-Year office management experience
  • High school diploma or equivalence
  •  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
