An electric utility client is looking for an Electrical Engineer who will support of the Grid Needs Assessment (GNA) and Distribution Upgrade Projects Report (DUPR) processes.

Location: Pomona, CA 91768 (HYBRID)
Position: Electrical Engineer
Pay Rate: $48.91/hr. on W2
Duration: 12 months or longer
Schedule: 8AM – 5PM. Hybrid: Remote on Mon, Tues and Fri; In office on Wed and Thurs

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support of the Grid Needs Assessment (GNA) and Distribution Upgrade Projects Report (DUPR) processes.
  • This includes aggregation and quality assurance of grid needs data and planned investments.
  • Support of the GNA/DUPR narrative for the annual CPUC filing.
  • Development of process documentation for presentation at external stakeholder review meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Bachelor's degree in a scientific/technical/math field.
  • Possesses five to seven years of engineering experience

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Understanding of electric utility grid and the equipment used to build and operate the system
  • Ability to analyze large sets of data to identify trends and outliers.
  • Experience with developing documentation to meet compliance requirements.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
