Dimension Control Technician
An aerospace client is looking for a Dimension Control Technician to maintain a clean and organized workshop environment, perform maintenance of critical assembly tooling fixtures as well as performing tooling cycles, reworks and revisions.
Location: Palmdale, CA 93550 (On-site)
Position: Dimension Control Technician
Pay Rate: $20.64/hr. – $24.12/hr. on W2 (Negotiable-DOE)
Duration: 6 months or longer
Schedule: 4×10 (M-Th)
Shift: Must be willing to work Any Shift, 1st and 2nd shift are Monday through Thursday. 1st is 5:00am-3:50pm and 2nd is 4:12pm 2:42am.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment, perform maintenance of critical assembly tooling fixtures as well as performing tooling cycles, reworks and revisions.
- Machine shop environment, Close knit team culture.
- Will start day by performing shop 5s, will then be assigned work by shop leads, candidate will perform/support assignment maintenance/repair/inspection and housekeeping
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- US Citizenship is required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- This is an Entry Level position.
- Assembly tooling
- Highly organization, Good Communication, self-starter, problem solver, positive attitude, safety minded.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- An understanding of basic mechanics and experience in the use of various hand tools.
- Top 3-5 skills/technologies: Basic hand tools, Microsoft office suite, Jig and fixture/ Tool building experience, laser tracker experience, Machine shop experience, Verisurf, Mastercam. – preferred
