An aerospace client is looking for a Microelectronics Technician to support our molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) department. 
 
Location: Manhattan Beach, CA 90266 (On-site)
Position: Microelectronics Technician
Pay Rate: $22.14/hr. on W2
Duration: 12 months or longer
Schedule: 9×80 A
Shift: 1st shift – 5:00AM to 2:30PM

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To support our molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) department.
• As a member of the MBE department, will work alongside material science engineers and equipment support engineers.
• This position will serve on-site at the Space Park campus, on the Manhattan Beach, CA side.
• Use characterization systems to analyze wafers for Engineering review.
• Semiconductor wafer handling and wafer analysis.
• Start up systems being used for the day. Perform daily calibrations. Run tools for the day’s task. Learn/practice on any new tools that were recently acquired.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• US Citizenship is required.
• High School diploma
• Able to lift 30-40 pounds
• Computer-literate
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Outlook, and Word)
   

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Semiconductor Wafer handling
• Cleanroom experience
