Sr SMS Architect
Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill a Senior SMS Architect position that just opened in Bloomington, MN. In this role, you’ll lead a cross-functional team responsible for working with the systems and software teams to implement several new SMS capabilities. To be considered, you will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering or a related Science or Mathematics field and 10+ years of experience.

Contract: 24 months with possibility of turning permanent
Pay: $116.51/hour
Schedule: Hybrid
Responsibilities:
As a Sr. SMS Architect, you’ll lead a cross-functional team responsible for working with the systems and software teams to implement several new SMS capabilities. This includes driving towards an upcoming demonstration. This will involve reviewing the system-level design in the MBSE model and assisting in the completion of Jira stories for software development. The architect will review the software design and/or create the software design in the model for each story. Once the design is implemented, the architect will review and approve it.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 10+ years of job-related experience, or a Master’s degree plus 8 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.
