Location: Las Vegas, NV
Position: Financial Controller
Salary: $80k – 100k DOE

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, with specific expertise in NetSuite and a proven track record of at least 5 years as a Financial Controller. This role will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and ensuring accuracy in reporting to support the company’s goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the company’s financial records using NetSuite, ensuring data integrity and compliance with accounting standards including day-to-day accounting operations, transaction processing, reconciliations, financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Support the Senior Director of Finance in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
• Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports to senior management.
• Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate filings.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Work with the finance team to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop junior accounting staff.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support long-term business planning and growth initiatives.

Skills / Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Financial Controller or a similar leadership role.
• Extensive experience with NetSuite, including implementation, customization, and reporting functionalities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.

Bonus Skills / Experience

• Active CPA certification is a plus.
• Experience directing internal and external audits to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to best practices in compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations.
