APR Consulting, Inc. has been engaged to identify a Sr. Front-End Designer.

Location: Las Vegas, NV 89103
Position: Sr. Front-End Designer
Salary: $75 – $100,000 DOE plus bonus

We are seeking a talented and passionate Frontend UI Designer with experience in React development for mobile applications. In this role, you will be responsible for designing intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that optimize user experience. You will collaborate closely with our development team to ensure that design specifications are effectively implemented in the final product.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce engaging, user-friendly interfaces for mobile applications, focusing on aesthetics, usability, and functionality.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective design solutions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
• Ensure design consistency across all mobile platforms by adhering to established design systems and best practices, especially for responsive web design.
• Work closely with developers to deliver pixel-perfect designs and provide guidance during the implementation of UI components using React Native.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs based on user needs and behavior.
• Stay updated on industry trends, design tools, and mobile technology to continuously enhance skills and improve design processes.

Skills / Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Web Design, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 years of experience as a UI Designer, specifically for mobile applications.
• Proficiency in React Native or similar frameworks, with a solid understanding of front-end development principles.
• Must be able to provide a strong portfolio showcasing design work with examples of mobile application interfaces.
• Excellent knowledge of prototyping tools and design software such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar design software.
• Familiarity with user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Skills / Experience

• Experience in working with Agile methodologies and cross-functional teams preferred.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and designing for diverse user groups.
