Compensation Range: $94,000 – 116,000 (DOE)
Position Title: Database Administrator with Active Top-Secret Clearance (SCI Eligibility)
Location: Huntsville, AL
Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to design, implement, and maintain moderately complex databases. The successful candidate will maintain database dictionaries and ensure the integration of systems through effective database design. This role involves administering and testing computer databases, applying extensive knowledge of database management systems. The Database Administrator will coordinate changes to computer databases and may also plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard these databases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain moderately complex databases.
- Maintain database dictionaries and ensure system integration through database design.
- Administer and test computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems.
- Coordinate changes to computer databases.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.
Requirements:
- Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
- At least six (6+) years of Database Administration experience.
- Experience with Oracle utilities, troubleshooting, administration, and OEM management.
- Experience developing, executing, and evaluating database code, functions, and queries on an Oracle database platform.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving database and related issues.
- Knowledge and experience using reporting engines.
- Experience developing and maintaining documentation, including standards and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Robust decision-making skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or, in lieu of a degree, 4 additional years of experience.
