Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill a Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) Engineer position that just opened in Scottsdale, AZ. In this role, you’ll develop and document system architectures, behavioral descriptions and interfaces; define and review system requirements and requirement verification test plans. To be considered, you will have an Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering or related plus a minimum of 5 years of experience.

Contract: 12-24 months with possibility of going direct

Pay: $71.75/hour
Schedule: Hybrid

As a Space Force MUOS Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) engineer in the Space, Cyber & Intelligence Systems business area, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for defining, developing, testing and sustaining specialized solutions that are used by our warfighters worldwide on patrol in hostile environments, whether urban, canyon, mountains, or jungles – or even the Arctic Circle.  The system provides a familiar cellular phone-like service, allowing forces on the ground to communicate directly with others at higher levels of quality and much greater capacity than available through the current system.

  • Develop and document system architectures, behavioral descriptions and interfaces
  • Define and review system requirements and requirement verification test plans
  • Design, development, integration and test of hardware systems
  • Integrated telemetry, tracking and commanding (TT&C) system hardware and software
  • Troubleshooting ground to satellite communications
  • Encryption and digital forward error correction.
  • Experience with digital and radio frequency (RF) systems and test equipment
  • Scripting using Perl, Python and modern software languages
