A Senior Cloud Developer (TS/SCI) position just opened up with our client in Huntsville, AL. In this role you will be responsible for developing the cloud service delivery models and architectural framework to enable platform as a service (PaaS), infrastructure as a service (IaaS), software as a service (SaaS), and data as a service (DaaS). You must have a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 8 years of related experience and be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI Eligible Clearance.

Pay Rate: $140,000 – 170,000/year DOE
Duration: Direct/Permanent

The Senior Cloud Developer will be responsible for developing the cloud service delivery models and architectural framework to enable platform as a service (PaaS), infrastructure as a service (IaaS), software as a service (SaaS), and data as a service (DaaS). The candidate will possess the ability to implement automation for cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices and the ability to analyze applications and make recommendations across multiple areas that identify what platforms can move, migrate, and/or be deployed into a cloud environment. The successful candidate will be capable of providing strategies for failure/recovery, cost optimization and benefit analyses of cloud, cloud agnostic, and on-site premise services. The Cloud Developer will be responsible for developing and implementing cloud-applications, migrating existing on-premises applications to the cloud, debugging cloud stacks, managing policies for the use of cloud services, requests for new technology, establishing a secure cloud environment, and ensuring appropriate availability/uptime design. The ideal candidate will work independently designing and developing new software products or major enhancements to existing cloud software.
Requirements:
- Active Top Secret Clearance/SCI Eligibility
- At least eight (8+) years of Cloud Developing experience
- AWS, Data Engineer, Java, Python, and Databricks experience
- Ability to architect and migrate on-premises applications into a cloud platform
- Experience using active learning and analytical thinking in a collaborative, cross-functional team
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or in lieu of degree 4 additional years of experience
