Quality Inspector
An aerospace client is looking for a Quality Inspector to support the Dice Sort Visual Production Lab.
Location: Redondo Beach, CA 90278 (Onsite)
Position: Quality Inspector
Pay Rate: $25.24/hr. – $31.34/hr. on W2 (DOE)
Duration: 6 months or longer
Schedule: 9×80
Shift: 1st Shift
** It is a 9-hour workday that should include core business hours of 6am – 1am PST.**
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- A Quality Inspector to support our Dice Sort Visual Production Lab.
- As a member of the Quality & Mission Assurance department you’ll work in a fast-paced team environment alongside technicians, quality engineers, and superconducting foundry engineers to make our technologies a reality.
- The candidate’s role will be vital in maintaining the highest quality standards in client’s semiconductor products.
- Visual Inspection of GaN, GaAs and InP semiconductor circuits, for Flight customers. Perform detailed microscope inspections of III-V semiconductor wafers and chips (sub-micron technologies).
- Visual Inspection of covers/getters to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained before covers are used to seal modules.
- Visual Inspection of substrates at the piece-part level prior to installation in microelectronic assemblies.
- Will be expected to perform inspections associated with microelectronic assemblies. They would also be required to document the results by taking photos and updating a database.
- Expected to spend most of the workday in the lab, inspecting and processing getter/covers and substrates that are in queue.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- High school graduate or equivalent
- At least two (2) years related experience working with semiconductors.
- Expertise with 50x-1000x Optical microscopes.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products and computer-related skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience microelectronics inspection (especially wafer fab) is required.
- Experience using Solumina and SAP
- Experience using Eyelit manufacturing execution system is preferred, but not required.
