An aerospace client is looking for a Software Engineer with Active Secret Clearance to provide troubleshooting support for laser projection in layup cells.

Location: Clearfield, UT 84016 (On-site)
Position: Software Engineer with Active Secret Clearance
Pay Rate: $72.52/hr. on W2 (DOE)
Duration: 12 months or longer
Schedule: 3/12 schedule
Shift: C-Shift (Fri-Sun; 7am-7pm, 3-12 shift structure) – Can work during the week for overtime, when needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide troubleshooting support for laser projection in layup cells.
• Create Laser projection files using NX Fibersim.
• Create assembly models using NX.
• Typical day look like: CAD/CAM work in an office area, with occasional floor calls to assist with Virtek, or other machine related manufacturing issues.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must have an Active Secret clearance. Must have ability to obtain SAP clearance. Can start work 3 weeks prior to SAP approval.
• High School Diploma or equivalent with 3-15 years of experience.
• Proficient in use of NX
• Experience and proficiency with NX is a must. Fibersim or NC programming experience is a plus.
• Experience with composite materials.
• Experience in troubleshooting manufacturing processes.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience with composite materials
• Windows and MS office skills required
• Working knowledge of Siemens FiberSIM
• Laser Projection Experience (Virtek LaserEdge preferred)
• Pattern Cutting Nesting Experience (TruNest preferred)
