An electric utility client is looking for a Project Assistant who is responsible for schedule management across multiple teams and disciplines, document management (develop, store, update), tracking attendance, training, and reporting statistics.

Location: Pomona, CA 91768 (HYBRID)
Position: Project Assistant
Pay Rate: $32.36/hr. on W2
Duration: 18 months or longer
Schedule: 8AM – 5PM. Hybrid: Two Onsite days are TBD

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the Project Manager with project management from start to finish, including work order closure.
  • Coordinate documentation with customers, review as needed, and assist in submitting packages to the design hub, setting deadlines.
  • Communicate project status and updates to customers, track deliverables, and manage design/scheduling conflicts.
  • Ensure accurate and complete contracts/invoices based on project type/scope, and support customer obligations.
  • Coordinate construction schedules with stakeholders, schedule projects to district operations, and track field completion. Notify customers of project status and delivery dates.
  • Assist PM in reporting tasks, track inactive work orders, and address potential AFUDC charges.
     

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • Microsoft Excel experience is required. Experience in VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables.
  • Three to Five years experience in an analytical position utilizing database programs and spreadsheet software.
  • Analysis: Review new project submittals for completeness before sending them to the Planning Hub.
  • Coordination: Coordinate workorder execution with Operations, inspections, and scheduling.
  • Customer Service and Support: All Aspects
  • Communication: Maintain communication with stakeholders on project status and deliverables. Handle confidential communications with integrity, professionalism, safety, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Organizational Management: Manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
  • Adaptability: Adjust to changing workloads and priorities.
  • Problem Solving: Develop solutions based on data insights.
