Pay Rate: $50.00+/hr. (DOE)
Duration: 18 months or longer
Flexible work schedule: 9/80 or 5/40

Responsibilities:
- Generate board-level circuit requirements
- Create circuit design specification
- Design and develop custom analog/digital circuits for advanced avionics
- Lead design reviews
- Generate/review design analysis (WCA, EPSA, FMECA)
- Schematic capture.
- Provide board layout guidelines
- Perform board signal integrity and power integrity analyses
- Review test procedures for correctness and completeness
- Review all test results against V&V (verification and validation) matrices for correctness and completeness
- Support test team to complete board tests
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience with high-speed digital circuit design
- 5+ years of experience capturing electronic circuit schematic and generating electronic component symbols and footprints; Mentor DxDesigner/Expedition tool suite, or ALTIUM tool suite
- 5+ years of experience with electronic assembly fabrication and manufacturing processes
- Experience with developing military or space qualified electronics
- Familiarity with IPC or electronics development related military/aerospace standards
- Experience with analog circuit design
- Extensive understanding and application of advanced principles, theories, concepts and techniques in Hardware development from top-level requirements, design, implementation, and test
- Experience with performing signal and power integrity analyses using Mentor Hyperlynx tool suite
- Working knowledge of applicable industry and/or JPL practices and standards such as engineering drawing practices and electronic packaging design and fabrication
- Good understanding of communication protocols: SpaceWire, MILSTD-1553, SPI
