We have an immediate opening for an Assembler to install components and sub-assemblies in accordance with provided work instructions.
Job Title: Assembler
Location: Canonsburg, PA 15317
Contract Duration: 12 months or longer
Pay: $16.67/hour
Note: Due to the nature of work all candidates must be US Citizens. Department of Defense Secret security clearance is REQUIRED.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Installs components and sub-assemblies in accordance with provided work instructions.
- Mechanical assembly following specifications and work instructions.
- Keeps accurate records for build information, anomalies, defects and test data.
- Maintains all manufacturing related equipment and facilities.
- Contributes to the workplace organization initiatives
- Mechanical, electronic, or related abilities.
- Experienced with and able to use hand tools, small power tools and pneumatic tools.
- Able to read, understand and follow technical drawings, datasheets, and written work instructions.
- Exhibits computer skills. Strong verbal and technical writing skills.
- Possesses and maintains a good attendance record.
- Able to work overtime when required (including nights and weekends).
- Strong organizational tendencies and practices.
- Able to read, understand and follow technical drawings, datasheets, and written work instructions.
- Experienced with and able to use hand tools and small power tools.
Required Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
