APR Consulting, Inc. has been engaged to identify a Forklift/Machine Operator
Location: Knoxville, TN 37914
Position: Forklift/Machine Operator
Pay Rate: $17/hr
Duration: 3-months initially with potential to extend/convert based on performance.
Schedules/Shift available:
Swing shift (days) 5:30am- 5:30pm. 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on
JOB SUMMARY
- Pallet jack/forklift experience required (reach truck preferred)
- Workers certified on equipment would be able to work in most areas of the building and would be either stocking product into locations or shuttling product from a location to any area of the building where it was needed. They would also need to be certified on each piece of equipment they would be asked to operate – Fork lift, Clamp Truck, Reach Truck, Stock picker, etc.
- Main job responsibilities will be order selecting, wrapping and staging pallets, general warehouse cleaning. This is NOT strictly a forklift role, and they will not solely be operating a forklift.
- Mandatory OT subject to change based on workload. Steel toed boots required on Day 1. Interviews conducted on-site.
