APR Consulting, Inc. has been engaged to identify a Revenue Cycle Analyst.

Location: 12401 Washington Boulevard Whittier, CA 90602
Position: Revenue Cycle Analyst
Pay Rate: $32.33/hr.
Duration: 13 weeks
Expected Shift: Day 5×8-Hour (8AM – 5PM)

POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director, Patient Accounting, the Revenue Cycle Analyst and Special Projects Manager is responsible for supporting a successful revenue cycle by monitoring the quantity and quality of work performed, compiling data to develop sound analysis leading to revenue cycle opportunities and maintaining data integrity. Provides dashboards that help management identify issues and take action. Identifies and recovers underpayments.

SPECIFIC SKILLS NEEDED:

  • Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills are a must, as well as demonstrated ability to effectively produce assignments within required time frames and demonstrated outstanding skill in prioritizing work tasks and assignments.
  • Candidates must have literacy in PC applications such as Word and Excel and Access applications.
  • Demonstrates ability to extract, compile, and format data to produce a variety of reports and presentations.
  • Good mathematical skills.
  • Able to perform multiple tasks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, required.
  • Broad knowledge of business case analysis, KPI's, dashboard reporting and revenue/expense analysis.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate
  • Experience in managed care, extensive knowledge in all payment methodologies, stop loss, MS-DRGS, HCPCS and ICD codes, per diems, exceptions, etc., extensive experience in analyzing rates, utilization data & developing pricing models, intermediate to advance user of spreadsheet & database applications
  • Understands HFA 1500 Billing form data elements

Our client is one of the largest Healthcare Staffing Providers in the United States, to be assigned at one of their affiliated hospitals/healthcare facilities.
