DESCRIPTION
An aerospace/manufacturing client is looking for Entry Level Machine Operators that will perform a variety of processing, assembly, inspection, cleaning, rework, minor setups, and various support duties as associated with the manufacturing, testing, and shipment of vacuum interrupters.
LOCATION: Horseheads, NY 14845 POSITION: Entry Level Machine/Test Operators CONTRACT: 6 months or longer PAY: $22/hour SHIFT: 2nd shift, M-F, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
*Possible training schedule for 1 month: M-F 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, once training is done, you’ll be transferring to 2nd shift

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform a variety of processing, assembly, inspection, cleaning, rework, minor setups, and various support duties as associated with the manufacturing, testing and shipment of vacuum interrupters.
- Receive oral and/or written instructions.
- Set up and operate equipment to perform a variety of in-line, final, or special electrical tests to inspect, classify, or identify that product meets required specifications.
- Maintain company records, operate product-making equipment to supply assembled/sub assembled product, making necessary inspections checks.
- Assemble, pot, test, mark, inspect, and pack assemblies as required.
- Perform Minor setups and adjustments.
- Measure and combine acids, bases, plating material, and cleaning solutions, apply to assemblies. Receive, store, inspect, issue and record a variety of materials.
- Perform required housekeeping tasks
- Follow shop safety procedures.
- Support all EHS functions
- High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited school required.
- 1 to 3 years of experience preferred
- Steel toed Shoes required
