Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist
Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist position that just opened in a remote setup. In this role, you’ll be developing and administering staffing and recruiting programs; and managing the recruiting process using iCIMS, ensuring compliance with laws. To be considered, you will have a Bachelor’s degree plus 8+ years of job-related experience.

Contract: 24 months or longer
Pay: $64.43/hour (rate is depending on overall experience)
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
Our client is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to enhance their organization’s performance and profitability, supporting vital national defense services. Collaborate with esteemed customers to develop solutions for high-stakes national security missions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and administer staffing and recruiting programs
- Manage the recruiting process using iCIMS, ensuring compliance with laws
- Create and share reports on recruiting efforts
- Collaborate with hiring managers to document job requirements
- Source and attract qualified candidates
- Pre-screen resumes, interview candidates, and conduct reference checks
- Negotiate new hire compensation packages
- Conduct employment background checks
- Coordinate employment advertising campaigns
- Support college recruiting and career development programs
- Ensure staffing initiatives align with business goals
- Stay updated on EEO, ADA, and compliance requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree is required plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
- Strong experience in recruiting and staffing
- Knowledge and experience using AI to support the recruiting life cycle
- Creative problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to handle complex issues and apply new information quickly
- Excellent networking and communication skills
- Initiative and independent judgment in assignments
- Subject matter expertise in one discipline and developing knowledge in adjacent fields
