Senior Manufacturing/Production Operator – 3rd Shift
Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill a Senior Manufacturing/Production Operator – 3rd Shift position within their high-technology defense systems team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support manufacturing operations by performing complex assembly, integration, and testing of electronic and mechanical systems used in mission-critical applications. The position is based in Scottsdale, AZ and is fully on-site.
Location: Scottsdale, AZ (On-site)
Position: Senior Manufacturing/Production Operator – 3rd Shift
Contract Length: 12–24 months with possibility of going direct
Pay: $20.88 per hour
Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of relevant experience
Schedule: 3rd Shift
Clearance Requirement: No clearance required (U.S. citizenship required)
In this role, you will use your technical and interpersonal skills to:
- Perform complex production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
- Read and interpret schematics, drawings, and work instructions.
- Conduct wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing.
- Integrate subassemblies into final hardware and perform final system assembly.
- Conduct basic electrical testing and support rework and refurbishment of systems.
- Follow established methods, techniques, and sequences of operations.
- Ensure quality and accuracy in all production and assembly processes.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of polarity, inspection criteria, and Bills of Material (BOM).
- Familiarity with work order tracking systems.
- Experience with measuring equipment and basic math skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with surface mount pick-and-place machines is preferred.
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Interest in applying innovative solutions and process improvements.
