Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill a position for an Electronics Test Technician to support their high-technology defense projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on advanced aerospace systems that contribute to national security and defense missions.

Location: Canonsburg, PA (On-site; no hybrid or remote options)
Position: Electronics Test Technician
Contract Length: 12-24 months with possibility of going direct
Pay: $26.79 per hour
Schedule: First Shift

Clearance Requirement: Department of Defense Secret security clearance required at time of hire

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent including vocational training, with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience

In this role, you will use your technical and troubleshooting skills to:

  • Perform component-level troubleshooting and repair on analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics assemblies
  • Analyze circuit schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to isolate faults
  • Use oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, signal generators, and multimeters for diagnostics and testing
  • Conduct functional and environmental testing to validate repairs and system performance
  • Identify failed or out-of-spec electronic components and recommend corrective actions
  • Document failure analysis, root causes, and repair actions within maintenance or quality systems
  • Support engineering, production, and quality teams with technical troubleshooting and test support
  • Assist with development of troubleshooting procedures, test plans, and repair documentation

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent including vocational training
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant electronics troubleshooting or testing experience
  • Strong understanding of analog, digital, and power electronics
  • Experience reading and interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
  • Experience using electronic diagnostic and test equipment
  • Ability to diagnose and repair electronic assemblies at the component level
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance required at time of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree in Electronics or related discipline
  • Experience with solder repair and component-level rework
  • FCC license or solder certification is a plus
  • Experience supporting defense or aerospace programs
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and troubleshooting skills
