Our client is a worldwide telecommunications company that offers voice, data and video services and solutions on its award-winning networks and platforms, delivering on customers’ demand for mobility, reliable network connectivity, security and control.

We are looking for a Telecom Program Manager who will develop project tracking tools and systems to accurately document milestone completions, project issues, project jeopardies, and overall project completion.

Location: Alpharetta, GA 30022 – Hybrid
Position: Telecom Program Manager
Pay: $63.04/hr. on W2

Duration: 11 months or longer
Hybrid Schedule: 2/3 days in office
Targeted Years of Experience: 3-5 years

Responsibilities:

  • Develop project tracking tools and systems to accurately document milestone completions, project issues, project jeopardies, and overall project completion.
  • Deliver written/oral executive-level reporting, presentations and communications.
  • Provide management with project status updates, feedback, and appropriate reporting on key process-focused objectives.
  • PMP Certification or training preferred
  • Knowledge of Agile, Lean, and Six Sigma

MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):

  • Project Management Skills
  • Experience with both Waterfall and Agile framework
  • Previously Led Product Migrations Projects
  • Must have Technical Product knowledge
  • Good communications Verbal and Written Skills
  • Good Analytical Skills
  • Vendor Management Skills
  • Technical Literacy & Architecture Knowledge
  • Be able to present and lead stakeholder meeting with external Vendors

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Previous Migrations experience
  • Presenting findings and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders including subject matter experts and leadership, including live meetings and closed loop communications.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong cross-functional partnerships across levels of the business
  • Supporting larger insights program objectives, such as aligning employee listening to with customer and business metrics through dashboard, text analytics
  • Working cross-functionally to root causes and resolve pain points involving processes, policies, and systems
  • Proficiency in Migration Tools

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Experience with project management tools (Smartsheets)
  • Experience with G-suit, Slack
  • Capability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-changing environment that requires multi-tasking
  • Experience working in customer-support functions such as sales or customer service.
  • Experience working across channels and work groups.
  • Experience working complex projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience analyzing complex problems, considering diverse perspectives, and devising effective, innovative solutions.
  • Experience working within the Technology or Telecommunications industry
