Inventory Specialist
A retail client is looking for an Inventory Specialist to support tagging and data collection processes within a warehouse environment.
Location: Dallas, TX 75243 (Onsite)
Position: Inventory Specialist
Pay Rate: $22/hr. on W2
Duration: July 6, 2026 – September 1, 2026 (possible extension)
Hours: 40+ hours per week
Schedule:
Needs to be FLEXIBLE
- Days: Monday – Friday
- Shift 1: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Shift 2: 5:30 PM – 4:00 AM (night shift)
Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to support tagging and data collection processes within a warehouse environment. This role is responsible for performing case-level and pallet-level tagging and ensuring accuracy in inventory tracking.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform case-level and bag-level tagging of inventory
- Support pallet tagging operations as needed
- Execute inventory tagging and association processes
- Ensure accuracy of all tagging and data capture
- Follow standard operating procedures for tagging activities
- Identify and report discrepancies or issues
- Maintain productivity and meet daily operational targets
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow structured processes
- Comfortable working on feet for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or inventory experience
- Experience with tagging, scanning, or inventory systems
Work Environment
- Warehouse / distribution center setting
- Frequent walking, standing, and physical movement
- Handling inventory and tagging materials
Key Success Metrics
- Accuracy of tagging and data capture
- Completion of assigned workload
- Adherence to process and quality standards
