Advanced Mechanical Engineer
Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill an Advanced Mechanical Engineer position that just opened in Florham Park, NJ. In this role, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for designing hardware for challenging maritime applications. To be considered, you will have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience.

Position: Advanced Mechanical Engineer
Contract: 24 months with possibility of turning permanent
Pay: $64.36/hour
Schedule: Hybrid
As a mechanical engineer for Space, Cyber and Intelligence Systems business, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for designing hardware for challenging maritime applications.
We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: CAD mechanical design (especially CREO), structural and thermal analysis, design for harsh environments (especially maritime).
What sets you apart:
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
- Strong proficiency with modeling CAD tools to create mechanical models and drawings
- Extensive knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods, as well as technical, government, and industry standards
- Collaborative, creative thinker with experience leading complex projects
- Strong communication skills with ability to write technical papers and proposals
- Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
