Our client is a worldwide telecommunications company that offers voice, data and video services and solutions on its award-winning networks and platforms, delivering on customers’ demand for mobility, reliable network connectivity, security and control.
We are looking for a Telecom Reporting and Metrics Consultant to evaluate business trends and assess monthly and quarterly business performance in driving strategic business analysis and improvement.
Location: Basking Ridge, NJ- Alpharetta, GA – Boston, MA – Temple Terrace, FL – HYBRID (2 days office, 3 days remote possibly but not set in stone)

Pay: $53.57/hr. on W2
Duration: 13 months or longer
Description:
Responsible for reporting and analysis for the Indirect channel. Position provides business intelligence that helps our team evaluate complex issues and make informed decisions. You will partner with internal clients to understand what they need to know, and then design the research plan to get answers. You will generate insights that will help propel our business forward.
Candidate must have a strong financial and business analysis skills. Preferred knowledge of Verizon sales and revenue reporting systems.
- Evaluate business trends and assess monthly and quarterly business performance in driving strategic business analysis and improvement. Advise on risk and opportunity considerations for managing cost and growing the revenue and profitability.
- Prepare monthly analysis of business trends and financial results and Key Performance Indicators to be used in management reviews and strategic business analysis sessions.
- Create performance reports, including business insights, ad-hoc analysis and recommendations to executive management.
- Work with operations, finance, marketing and sales departments to determine KPIs. Produce routine operational and management reports for area of assignment.
- Sales and Revenue analysis including Sales to Revenue linkage, performance patterns and Churn.
- Create financial analysis for new business cases which would include forecasting.
- Perform data analytics on new program launches and present insights to finance, sales, marketing and sales operations.
- Engage and communicate with stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

You can handle tight timelines and you know how to prioritize to get the most important stuff done first. This role will move beyond compiling data and help tell the story behind the numbers to drive continuous improvements and insights.
You’ll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Six or more years of relevant work experience.
- Analyzed big data, distilled insights, and made business recommendations.
- Ability to perform transformations on large data sets from multiple platforms to drive business answers
- Ability to work autonomously with little guidance to drive business needs through data analysis
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- Presented complex ideas and insights to a variety of audiences.
- Previous experience with Wireless Connectivity Partners
- At least 5+ years of experience in telecommunications or telephony with a focus on B2B or business enterprise customer management
