Space Force – Senior Advanced Systems Engineer – Configuration Management
Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer – Configuration Management position that just opened in Scottsdale, AZ. In this role, you’ll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing and deploying the state-of-the-art ground operational system. To be considered, you will have an Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related plus a minimum of 8 years of experience.
Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Position: Senior Advanced Systems Engineer – Configuration Management
Contract: 24 months with possibility of turning permanent
Pay: $86.34/hour
Schedule: Hybrid 9/80
As a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer, you’ll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing and deploying the state-of-the-art ground operational system.

- Satellite communications knowledge
- Ground to Satellite communication knowledge
- Ground operations experience
Requirements:
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.
- Leadership in designing and implementing Configuration Management systems for Data Centers
- Experience leading teams responsible for network configuration management and IT service management
- Experience with IT equipment configuration management databases
- Experience with managing the tracking and deployment of software updates across an enterprise
- Experience with IT Service Management products such as ServiceNow
- Experience working with multiple software suppliers to manage and track their planned version update cycles
