Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill an Oracle EBS Developer position that just opened in Pasadena, CA. In this role, you’ll support the upgrade and migration of our on-premise Kronos Workforce Central system to the cloud-based UKG Workforce Management platform. The consultant will focus on technical interface development and data integration, working closely with our internal HR, Payroll, and IT subject matter experts to ensure seamless interaction between UKG/Kronos and our Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environment. To be considered, you will have an Bachelor’s Degree plus a minimum of 6 years of experience.

Pay: $75.00/hour+ depending on experience
Schedule: Hybrid – onsite as needed

We are seeking a techno-functional consultant to support the upgrade and migration of our on-premise Kronos Workforce Central system to the cloud-based UKG Workforce Management platform. The consultant will focus on technical interface development and data integration, working closely with our internal HR, Payroll, and IT subject matter experts to ensure seamless interaction between UKG/Kronos and our Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environment.

In addition to project responsibilities, the consultant will also serve as a backup resource to internal staff by helping support production payroll and timekeeping systems during the transition period.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the technical upgrade from Kronos Workforce Central (on-premise) to UKG Workforce Management (cloud)
  • Analyze current Kronos/EBS interface landscape and support migration of applicable components
  • Develop, test, and implement robust interfaces between UKG/Kronos and Oracle EBS, including:
  • Timekeeping data transfer from Kronos/UKG to Oracle EBS
  • Accruals and employee data flow from Oracle EBS to Kronos/UKG
  • Use Oracle EBS APIs (including PL/SQL-based interfaces) to insert and update timekeeping, payroll, and HR data
  • Validate interface logic, data mappings, and business rules to support accurate processing
  • Collaborate closely with onsite teams and follow direction on requirements, task execution, and timelines
  • Provide ongoing support for production payroll and timekeeping systems as backup to internal team members
  • Assist with functional validation, testing, and data reconciliation during implementation
  • Document technical designs, integration logic, and troubleshooting procedures
  • Provide post-go-live support and technical issue resolution

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus a minimum of 6 years of experience.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Kronos Workforce Central and/or UKG Workforce Management
  • Proven experience in integrating Kronos/UKG with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) in HR and Payroll environments
  • Strong command of Oracle EBS APIs, PL/SQL, and interface structures
  • Ability to support and troubleshoot time and labor integrations and production environments
  • Techno-functional understanding of timekeeping, scheduling, accruals, and payroll processes
  • Experience with middleware or interface tools (e.g., Dell Boomi, Mulesoft, flat-file FTP processes)
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to data accuracy and system dependencies
  • Effective communicator and collaborative team member able to work under direction

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Oracle EBS modules such as HRMS, Payroll, and Time & Labor
  • UKG/Kronos certifications or formal training
  • Background working in compliance-focused or enterprise-scale environments
