An aerospace client is looking for a Stock Clerk who to support the Global Supply Chain Team.

Location: Sierra Vista, AZ 85635 (Onsite)
Position: Stock Clerk
Pay Rate: $18.49/hr. on W2
Duration: 6 months or longer
Schedule: 5×8 (M-F)
Shift: 1st Shift (5/40)
TRAVEL: Yes, 10% of the Time

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To support the Global Supply Chain Team.
  • As a member of the GSC department you’ll work in a fast-paced team environment, providing warehouse support and kitting for end items. This position will serve on-site at Global Autonomous & Tactical Solutions in Sierra Vista Arizona.
  • Performs a combination of manual and clerical duties to receive, store, and issue equipment, materials, and supplies in a central warehouse.
  • Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications and invoices; stores articles according to identifying factors; fills orders or issues supplies from stock; requisitions stock to fill incoming orders; and prepares stock use reports.
  • Determines methods or places for storage considering guidelines for temperature, humidity, weight or height limits, turnover, floor loading capacity, and required space.
  • Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of problems and issues. Contacts are frequent with individuals representing outside organizations, and/or individuals of significant importance within the company.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance per business requirements.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and 2 years of experience in a stockroom, warehouse, manufacturing environment, or related experience.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Must be detail oriented and have a strong work ethic.
  • Must be able to learn and follow established processes, procedures, and requirements.
  • Experience with data entry, and proficient using commercial and military logistics supply systems.
  • Experience maintaining records and providing traceability of materials.
  • Experience receiving material, inspecting, and verifying materials received for accuracy.
  • Experience determining best storage practices for warehouse environment.
  • Experience with and be comfortable using forklifts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Security Clearance (Secret)
  • High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of related experience.
  • Prior experience leading a team.
  • Warehouse Management Software Experience SAP.
  • Prior stockroom experience.
  • Prior military experience with logistics.
