Location: Rockledge, FL 32955
Position: Epic Project Manager
Pay Rate: $80 – 100/hr DOE
Duration: 26 weeks
Expected Shift: 8:00am-4:00pm (40 hrs/week) Monday–Friday. Remote but required to come onsite one week monthly or as needed for milestone events.
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for managing multiple workstreams as part of the company’s Epic implementation.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Regularly update stakeholders on project progress and outcomes
- Coordinate project phases from initiation through implementation and closure.
- Engage and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including clinical staff, IT teams, and administration.
- Facilitate communication to ensure all parties are informed and aligned.
- Lead cross-functional project teams, providing direction and support.
- Foster a collaborative environment to encourage team engagement and productivity.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Proactively address issues that may impact project success.
- Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and align with organizational goals.
- Implement processes for continuous improvement based on feedback and outcomes.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and action items.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Epic Project Manager
- Clinical/Inpatient PM
- Must have Epic Willow Inpatient and or Epic Willow Ambulatory Experience.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology (IT), Healthcare or related field, or a total of five years of applicable professional experience.
- Work Experience: Three years’ experience in coordination, collaboration, and facilitation of work efforts
Work Experience in lieu of Education:
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Experience using multiple methodologies and tools in business analysis, project management, process improvement, and change management to manage multiple cross functional initiatives simultaneously.
- Facilitate meetings and work sessions to logically evaluate and analyze situations, providing the necessary data to drive decisions from executive sponsors, project sponsors, and stakeholders.
- Ability to foster high performing teams and optimize resources to achieve initiative outcomes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse and matrixed environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Certification: Professional certification in project management, lean six sigma, business analysis, or change management
- Work Experience: Experience in a health care delivery environment.
