An aerospace client is looking for an Assembler who will perform tasks under a stereo zoom microscope, fine pitch soldering of circuit card assemblies, and intricate wire harnesses.

Location: Northridge, CA 91324 (On-site)
Position: Assembler
Pay Rate: $22/hr – $26.82/hr. on W2 (DOE)
Duration: 3 months or longer
Schedule: 1st Shift (9/80A)

Responsibilities:

  • This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working in a team environment, can perform tasks under a stereo zoom microscope, fine pitch soldering of circuit card assemblies, and intricate wire harnesses.
  • The qualified candidate needs to be able to work from diagrams, drawings, and work instructions to meet customer requirements.
  • Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed work.
  •  May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble.

Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship required.  
  • Ability to obtain a secret clearance
  •  High School diploma or GED with 4+ years of assembly or electronic experience
  • Ability to perform tasks from written directions and drawings.
  • Demonstrated high level of attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to flex between job responsibilities based on business demand.
  • Ability to perform manufacturing / assembly tasks, at a high level, in a metric-based work environment.
  • Ability to move objects weighing up to 10 pounds from one location to another and wear basic PPE.
  • Basic computer skills including experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications

  • (IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, and/or J-STD-001 certifications
  • Active DOD clearance
  • Associate degree in an electronic or technical discipline.”
