CWL Advanced Systems Engineer
Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill an CWL Advanced Systems Engineer position that just opened in Manassas, VA. In this role, as our Systems Engineer for CWL, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for the system engineering and functional design of the system under development, addressing topics such as payload integration, weapon launch interlocks, weapon simulation, message exchanges, user interfaces, and cybersecurity. As a member of the system engineering team, the candidate will help ensure functional and technical specifications and standards are complete and accurate, delivered as required to support customer review and approval, to support system development and test.
To be considered, you will have …
- B.S or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related degree
- At least 5 years of experience in and engineering role, preferably defense related
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with computer system architectures, cybersecurity, Linux or embedded operating systems
Location: Manassas, VA
Position: CWL Advanced Systems Engineer
Contract: 12-24 months with possibility of going direct
Pay: $59.69/hour Contract W2
Schedule: Onsite
Clearance: Secret obtainable / preferred
