Location: Greensboro, NC 27401
Position: Physician Recruitment Coordinator
Pay Rate: $28/hr
Duration: 26 weeks
Expected Shift: 8am to 5pm, 40 hours/week
Hybrid; M-F 8am-5pm. Mostly remote yet may be needed on an as needed basis onsite. LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY

JOB SUMMARY:
Provides administrative assistance for Physician & Provider Recruitment staff, supporting the strategies for the recruitment and hiring of physicians and providers within the Cone Health primary and secondary service areas including hospitals, specialty medical groups, other health system partners, and private practices.
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
– HS Diploma or GED
– 3-5 years years of progressively responsible administrative experience in physician recruitment, practice administration/management, or healthcare. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
– Fast learner, self starter
– Proficiency in Excel
– Associate's/Bachelor's degree preferred
– Extensive knowledge of health care delivery systems and physician practice administration.
Excellent communication, writing, organizational, problem-solving, decision-making skills, and negotiation skills.
 
Maintains confidentiality and privacy.
 
Volunteers for and actively participates in departmental projects including setting aside individual work priorities to achieve departmental goals.
 
Ability to work with people, establish priorities, and handle workflow with frequent interruptions.
 
Ability to be flexible in order to adapt to shifting priorities.
 
Ability to work independently.
 
Adheres to attendance, dress code, and other Cone Health policies.
 
Advanced computer skills required including proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
 
Ability to learn and become proficient with applicant tracking software systems.
 
Operate standard office equipment (copier, fax, etc.)
 
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
 
 
 
JOB FUNCTIONS:
Maintains and coordinates provider candidate itineraries, meetings, travel, and calendars accurately and meeting deadlines. Coordinates appointment calendars and meeting schedules. Coordinates designated meetings, ensuring meeting notices, agenda, handouts, and minutes are prepared and master files maintained. Coordinates travel/meeting arrangements and processes travel expenses. Maintains master documents (minutes, reports).
 
Assists with onboarding new hires and transfers. Processes and ensures timely completion of new hire paperwork, orientation, and tax forms. Works with new hire provider to coordinate I-9 completion. May process contracts within contract tracking system. Ensures that contracts are signed and distributed to appropriate parties in a timely manner. Processes paperwork to payroll and HR as appropriate. Schedules relocation with moving companies as appropriate.
 
Assists with recruitment marketing tactics. Posts positions on internet job boards. Ensures accuracy of jobs posted on physician recruitment website and job posted on recruitment websites. Researches venues for marketing jobs, writes advertising copy, and posts jobs. When requested, provides recruitment marketing strategy reports, which include strategic options, dates, and provides cost analysis for posting jobs, possible conferences, etc.
 
Maintains and processes data within applicant tracking system accurately and by deadline. Processes job requisitions. Assists with the development of job posting in a timely and accurate manner. Assists hiring leaders with questions on applicant tracking system.
 
 
Provides professional administrative support services. Prepares, distributes, and files reports, memos, and correspondence. Composes forms, tables, overheads, spreadsheets, and/or databases. Establishes and maintains a functional filing system. Prioritizes and manages incoming mail distribution, prepares select responses independently or forwards items to appropriate source. Monitors and maintains office supply system. Screens and responds to questions and telephone calls, directing inquiries to appropriate person. Coordinates ongoing and special projects. Organizes and oversees assigned projects independently.
 
Maintains and processes financial data. Processes all financial paperwork (Purchase Orders, vouchers, billing statements, etc.) accurately and by deadline. Coordinates income guarantee accounts with accountant. Assists with the development of capital and operational budgets in a timely and accurate manner. Monitors budget responsibilities and communicates budget status to ensure necessary resources are available. Identifies areas of cost savings/cost reduction.
