An electric utility client is looking for a Project Admin Assistant who will organize project operations and provides a range of administrative and coordination functions

Location: Pomona, CA 91768 (Hybrid)
Position: Project Admin Assistant
Pay Rate: $32.36/hr. on W2
Duration: 18 months or longer
Schedule: 1st shift, M-F, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

  • Monthly hybrid schedule:
  • Week 1: Onsite Thursday
  • Week 2: Onsite Thursday
  • Week 3: Onsite Monday-Thursday
  • Week 4: Onsite Thursday

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Organizes project operations and provides a range of administrative and coordination functions
  • Tracks and reports on project milestones, deliverables, risks, and issues
  • Coordinates communication and information flow among project team members and stakeholders
  • Maintains project documentation, files, and administrative systems
  • Supports project managers in planning and executing projects, tracking progress, and identifying risks/issues
  • Analyze project data, track key metrics, and provide status reports to project manager
  • Recommends project management methods, tools, and best practices based on analysis
  • Acts as a resource for project team members on processes, systems, and day-to-day work
  • Develops presentations, dashboards, and visuals to communicate project status and technical details
  • Log and maintain project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests in issue tracking systems
  • Manages and adjusts changing workloads and priorities and follows up on multiple projects with minimal guidance
  • Assist with analyzing project data, metrics, and KPIs for insights and trend identification
  • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
  • This role will be supporting the Delivery Manager and the Systems Integrator PM’s and Scrum Masters. This resource will be supporting an enterprise IT implementation . The main responsibilities include Project Management support for IT projects, tracking project status and milestones, and manipulating dashboard filters to capture relevant updates and provide dashboard screenshots to relevant stakeholders and / or leadership.
  • Ideal candidate is a recent college graduate with strong written and verbal communication. Needs to be willing to learn, and highly adaptable, and able to prioritize.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Science, IT, etc. where they have high exposure to data related courses, IT, reporting, etc)
  • Basic skills MS Office Suite, specifically Teams, Calendaring and Excel.
  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience with project planning/tracking software.
  • Should have experience with Smartsheet.
