Senior Material Handling Associate
Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill a Senior Material Handling Associate position that just opened in Scottsdale, AZ. In this role, you will review stock records, and prepare purchase orders to determine stock status against production requirements. To be considered, you will have a High School diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of 2 years of related experience.

Position: Senior Material Handling Associate
Contract: 24 months or longer
Pay: $17.75/hour
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:
- Possesses necessary computer skills to proficiently handle routine tasks
- May review stock records, and prepare purchase orders to determine stock status against production requirements
- Communicates clearly with coworkers, planners, material managers, and internal customers
- Identifies material shortages and supports problem solving resolutions
- Documents and distributes scrap/ salvage parts
- Coordinates and prioritizes individual daily activities
- May handle and process classified material
- May kit daily or weekly assembly picks as required by job function
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- General knowledge of material planning, control and inventory methodology
- General knowledge of bill of material, manufacturing/test documentation and drawing tree concepts
- General organizational skills
- General communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to learn our enterprise software and associated data
- Exhibits adaptability and flexibility
- Ability to recognize and meet schedule priorities
- General knowledge of Government / Customer Property Control
- Ability to track, expedite, and pick material shortages to the manufacturing floor
- Ability to complete work on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognize the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to follow established procedures on routine work, only requiring specific instructions on new assignments
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
