Space Force – Systems Engineer & Tech Baseline Lead
Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill a Space Force – Systems Engineer & Tech Baseline Lead position that just opened in Scottsdale, AZ / Huntsville, AL. In this role, you will lead a team managing the requirements database and verification tracking. To be considered, you will have a Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
Location: Scottsdale, AZ / Huntsville, AL
Position: Space Force – Systems Engineer & Tech Baseline Lead
Contract: 24 months or longer
Pay: $71.75/hour
Responsibilities
- Lead a team managing the requirements database and verification tracking.
- Coordinate internal and external engineering review boards.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to resolve technical issues and drive design decisions.
- Oversee tracking of technical baseline artifacts and MBSE models, including CDRLs.
- Provide leadership on configuration management processes and workflow implementation.
- Present technical baseline status and plans at key customer reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related STEM field and 5+ years of experience, OR Master’s degree plus 3 years of experience.
- Agile experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency in requirements management and system modeling tools.
- Knowledge of MBSE, requirements decomposition, and engineering processes.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Clearance Requirements
- Department of Defense Top Secret clearance preferred at time of hire.
- Applicants may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
