Systems Engineer- Regional Strike Programs
Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill a Systems Engineer, Regional Strike Programs position that just opened in Pittsfield, MA. In this role, you will support Regional Strike Programs as part of a cross-functional engineering team responsible for delivering integrated hardware, software, and system-level solutions for advanced Department of Defense and aerospace programs. To be considered, you will have a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or a related STEM field with at least 2 years of relevant experience. A Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.

Position: Systems Engineer, Regional Strike Programs
Contract: 12 – 24 months with possibility of going direct
Pay: $49.36/hour
Schedule: First Shift

In this role you will use your technical and interpersonal skills to:
- Provide systems engineering support for Regional Strike Programs within a collaborative engineering environment
- Support cross-functional teams delivering integrated hardware, software, and system-level solutions for defense and aerospace applications
- Contribute to hardware and software validation, verification, and performance testing of complex systems
- Support requirements documentation, analysis, traceability, and lifecycle management activities
- Participate in system modeling, architecture development, and simulation analysis in support of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Assist with the design, integration, troubleshooting, and sustainment of hardware-based system solutions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver mission-critical solutions for Department of Defense programs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or a related Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline is required plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant job related experience
- Candidates with a Master’s degree may be considered with at least 6 months of relevant experience
- Experience working in Agile development environments is preferred
Clearance Requirements:
- Department of Defense active Secret security clearance is required.
- Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Due to the nature of work performed within secure facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Knowledge Skills And Abilities:
- Strong understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards
- Experience with requirements management and system modeling tools
- Ability to analyze complex systems and apply engineering best practices
- Creative problem solving skills with the ability to quickly learn and apply new technical information

- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in team-oriented engineering environments
