Manager of Accounting (Manufacturing Exp Required)

About the Role

We are seeking a hands?on, experienced Manager of Accounting to lead financial operations at a large, fast?paced manufacturing facility. This position plays a key role in driving financial accuracy, operational partnership, and continuous improvement across the plant.

You will work closely with corporate finance teams and centers of excellence while supporting a nationwide network of manufacturing locations. This is a high?visibility role with significant impact on plant performance and strategic decision?making.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field

• Manufacturing industry experience is required

• 7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience

• 3–5+ years in a supervisory or leadership role (Senior Accountant, Accounting Supervisor, Assistant Controller, etc.)

• Experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar)

• Advanced Excel skills, including:

  • Pivot tables

  • Data modeling & analysis

  • Complex formulas & reporting

• Strong ability to collaborate across teams and build effective working relationships

• Experience leading or supporting process improvements, system upgrades, or transformation initiatives

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights
