Systems Engineer- Regional Strike Programs
Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill a Systems Engineer, Regional Strike Programs position that just opened in Pittsfield, MA. In this role, you will support advanced Regional Strike Programs as part of a cross-functional engineering team delivering integrated hardware, software, and system level solutions for critical Department of Defense aerospace platforms. To be considered, you will have a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or a related STEM field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with at least 6 months of related experience. Experience working in Agile development environments is preferred.

Position: Systems Engineer, Regional Strike Programs
Contract: 12 – 24 months with possibility of going direct
Pay: $49.36/ hour
Schedule: First / Second Shift
CLEARANCE: Department of Defense Secret security clearance preferred at time of hire
In this role you will use your technical and interpersonal skills to:
- Provide systems engineering support for Regional Strike Programs supporting advanced DoD aerospace and defense platforms
- Participate in cross-functional engineering teams delivering integrated hardware, software, and system level solutions
- Support test and integration engineering, including hardware and software validation, verification, and performance testing of complex systems
- Assist with requirements engineering, including development, documentation, analysis, traceability, and lifecycle management of system requirements
- Support Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) activities including system modeling, simulation, architecture development, and design analysis
- Contribute to hardware systems engineering, including design, integration, troubleshooting, and technical support of hardware-based system solutions
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues and ensure successful system integration and performance
- Apply systems engineering concepts, principles, and technical standards to support mission critical defense programs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline is required with a minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience OR
- Master’s degree in a related STEM field with at least 6 months of relevant job related experience
- Experience working in Agile development environments is preferred
Clearance Requirements:
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance preferred at the time of hire.
- Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
