APR Consulting, Inc. has been engaged to identify a Patient Access Representative
Location: West Hollywood, CA 90048
Position: Patient Access Representative (CSRC Lab Reg and Ops)
Pay Rate: $24 – 27/hr DOE
Duration: 13 weeks
Expected Shift: Shift: Mid-shift with varying start times as needed (2-330pm). Weekend coverage may be needed, but primarily M-F.
JOB SUMMARY
Patient Access Representatives are responsible for providing patients with a welcoming experience, while facilitating patient’s access to care. The Patient Access Representative I (PAR I) performs a variety of Patient Access activities for patients throughout the Medical Center for Inpatient, Outpatient and/or Emergency Services.
The Patient Access Representatives are cross trained to support roles and responsibilities throughout Patient Access, Scheduling, Pre-Registration, Financial Clearance, Referrals, Authorizations, Financial Counseling, Physician Billing and Patient Arrival & Registration.
Years of Experience (minimum): 1 – 2 years registration
Skills Required: PC Knowledge, Health insurance knowledge
Skills Preferred: EPIC EHR
Department Details: Data-entry focused area. Registration work area is within the lab.
Daily Case Load: Register approximately 125-150 patients daily in a fast-paced environment
